ABOUT THE CLUB

Welcome to the London Warriors Basketball Club!

London Warriors Basketball Club (LWBC) is based in Feltham/Hounslow, West London, UK.

Our vision is to develop all our registered and committed players to their full potential.

We currently have teams playing in the Surrey Central Venue League (CVL) , Community Basketball League (CBL) and Basketball England National League. The London Borough of Hounslow Youth games team is predominantly made up of players from our club. We also participate in Borough Sports League. We have decided on players from age 7 years of age, who started with our youngest team (Under 10s)to develop and progress to achieve spots on BE Aspire/Talent and National teams with the view of making the Great Britain (GB) team to represent England Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland.

The club was established in 2002 and has played in the CVL  based in Bracknell in our early years, winning consistently and going from grassroots to elite level due to our players' consistent commitment, passion, development and progress/wins.

The National Basketball League (NBL) is regulated by Basketball England (BE), with London Warriors Basketball Club bd premier regularly playing at conference and premier levels in the South Region/Divisions in England.

LWBC welcomes every player regardless of their skill level, ability, or fitness. We simply ask for their commitment. If you want to join a club that is fun, enjoyable, progressive and encouraging, then this is the right club for you.

We provide basketball training for both boys, girls and Men between the ages of 6-30 years old every week. Those who have the talent, commitment and passion for the game are recruited into our local and national teams which run seasonally from September to March/April/May annually dependant on team performance and placements as the League progresses.

Recruiting predominantly from primary and secondary schools in the London Borough of Hounslow and surrounding areas, we started with 30 players and progressed over the years to currently training over 100 youths.

We are an inclusive club with a commitment to recruiting players from various ethnic, religious, and social backgrounds. We have parent volunteers who give up their free time to provide an environment that is both supportive and nurturing and embraces a vision of achievement through discipline and teamwork. All of this, when added to all aspects of the club, which include qualified and experienced coaches, robust administration, and supportive parents; works towards having a great club environment!

Due to the hard work and commitment of our volunteers, coaches and players continue to develop and progress throughout the years to attain Registered Charity status in 2019.

Come and join us to develop in the sport of basketball to the level you desire to achieve.
